now that i have recapped briefly.
has abit of thoughts over things
1.korea is colddamn cold, actl. with temp ranging frm like -8 to -15 deg celsius.
and with strong winds. brrr. freezing.
2.korea is not korea. its chinawhat? i dont make sense? yeah, in fact i dont know why.
but here's my point.
-my tour guide's a korean of chinese descent.
he speaks chinese to us.
-the shops we visit. the saleskeepers speak chinese. they are frm china/taiwan.
-tourist attractions. the people there somehow can speak chinese.
3.i love singapore. or not?what to do? its travel season.
at every turning point, restaurants, attractions, malls. singlish spewing.
goes to the hotel lobby. singlish.
goes to the skiing resorts. singlish.
goes to the sauna palace. more singrish.
streets. shops. airports. planes. grahhh~
am i really in korea?
4.food is not oily. but is boring.its just steamboats. and kimchi/seasoned stuff.
understands its due to cultural and historical stuff. ohwell.
5.are korean girls pretty?i went to the land of plastic surgery expecting many beauties with perfect faces.
i dont mind the false looks actually.
but what i saw was. uh. rather normal.
6.fashiontruth is. they're currently following some trend which. i dont quite fancy.
the straight bangs. round thickrimmed geeky glasses.
and then. attire. quite plain and simple.
does not see the flashy coats and extra short miniskirts or rainbow coloured stockings. and where are those sexy boots?
haha. the standard stuff was on the streets instead. jeans. normal coats and jackets in simple colours like uhh. brown blue black white kinds.
was expecting a similar sight like japan.
where were all the flashy clothes? the winter collection hides in the wardrobe?
the truth is. you only see those on tv. sobs :x
i do think that my korean airstweardess was charming tho :p
7. i like my tour guide and the assistant.their service was great, beyond what was needed of them to do.
8. i like the people who came on tour with us.so nice of them.
9. most importantly, i managed to take a holiday from my mind.Labels: memory
